Well, we are missing you.  The cold days of winter are broken and we'll be back on the road to catch up soon.  Drop us a note anytime!  We'll be glad to hear from you.  Thanks for sharing Soca Jukebox with your friends and family.  We'll get together soon and "feel alright".

Soca Jukebox Annual Meeting 2017

Minutes were read, old business, new business, voted on officers, food, libation and glad-handing at our annual meeting of the minds (and sticks).  The band gets together annually in a top-secret location to strategize, learn some new tunes and tell tall tales within the Soca J. organization.  Big THANKS to Jay for providing every hospitality.  It’s always an amazing day and we have a lot to look forward to in 2017.

Video is the "Wave" of the future.

The good people at Creative Productions Group have been working hard on our newest promotional videos.  We are super excited about them and some are even ready to share.

15 Years of Soca Jukebox

2017 is our “quinciañera” - That’s 15 in Soca Years.  Did you know that Soca Jukebox formed in the summer of 2002?  Our first show was just right up the street from my house in the backyard (on the tennis/basketball court of our friendly, neighborhood brain surgeon.  I know you’ll want to be putting this one on your calendar… Soca J was born, Aug. 10, 2002 weighing in at 1456 lbs (most of that is drums and steel!)  Send us a congrats on Facebook, drop us an email or perhaps a meaningful anniversary card.  As some of us like to say, “This is the longest relationship I’ve ever had!”.

Who wants a new Soca record?

New album for Summer ’17 - Our newest live tracks just went to mixing this week.  Lots of classic favorites and new hits for this record.  Can’t wait to share it.  We are looking for great titles for this album and entertaining all suggestions.  Want to submit a great Soca Jukebox album title for consideration?  If we pick yours, you’ll get free records, tons of swag, showtime props and hugs all around.  Send your suggestions to jason@jasonriley.comwith Soca J in the subject.

Getting to know Soca Jukebox!

JAYPAN (JAY ALBRIGHT): LEAD PAN, PERCUSSION, BACKING VOX

JayPan is the confirmed and pre-qualified Hype Man for Soca J.

Beyond that, he’s a multi-instrumentalist and backing vocalist specializing in Lead Pan, timbales, “more cowbell”, woodblocks and sundry percussion.

He was Soca’s MVP in the 2005, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2015 and is a shoe-in this season. Jay is a considerate professional, consummate performer, dedicated family man and a true friend.

“I’m (JayPan) the man, with the plan to do what he can, to jam you understand:) Life just can’t get much better for this rasta rocker that enjoys spending his days in the hallowed halls of the middle school environment and my evenings performing on the worlds best designed cereal bowl…steel drum that is. I dream of one day sitting on a beach with my steel drum full of Fruit Loops. Music has never been so yummy!!!”

“These guys are brilliant….plus, they are amazing musicians!  We’ve had them play at our company luau the last several years, and they are always the biggest draw!   They ARE the party!!  Everyone – from the youngest kid to the oldest - loves singing and dancing to their music.  Very family friendly, very professional, and very talented!
